This role involves providing client-side cost management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC contract administration.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the successful delivery of cost\/commercial management services on multi-disciplinary Transmission, Distribution and Power Systems projects.<\/li>\n<li>Client-side cost\/commercial management, including stakeholder, risk, and contract management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for budget management<\/li>\n<li>Support and manage the cost\/commercial management team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Actively manage contractors and subcontractors\u2019 payments and final accounts in accordance with contract conditions<\/li>\n<li>Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team<\/li>\n<li>Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Why not give our AECOM page on LinkedIn a follow to stay updated on the impactful projects we&#8217;re working on and see firsthand the difference we&#8217;re making in the industry!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ready to push the limits of what\u2019s possible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a co-location\/secondment arrangement.<\/li>\n<li>Highly competent in the use of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure and cost\/commercial management experience, delivering complex projects<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Highly motivated and with excellent industry network<\/li>\n<li>Relationship building skills \u2013ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build and maintain networks of business contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>A team player with a \u2018can-do\u2019 attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with NGET business processes, supplier requirements, national development process 500.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working on projects in Substations, Overhead Lines, and Cables 33kV \u2013 400kV with DNO or TO.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the UK Transmission and Distribution System along with associated plan and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Professional Development: Engagement in continuous professional development, including pursuing qualifications such as those offered by the RICS and other recognised bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to effectively communicate and engage with various stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and the public, to ensure project alignment and address concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Financial Acumen: Skills in budget management and financial oversight to ensure projects are delivered within budget.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and Team Development: Capability to lead cost\/commercial teams, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting team members&#8217;
