This position provides technical leadership across the pre\u2011order (pre\u2011ITO), tendering, and execution phases, working closely with commercial and cross\u2011functional teams to support winning bids and successful project delivery. The role combines deep technical expertise, customer focus, and sound engineering judgment, with opportunities to influence best practices, quality standards, and solution strategies on a global scale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical expertise during the pre\u2011ITO (requisition) and ITO phases, supporting bid development in close collaboration with commercial teams<\/li>\n<li>Analyze customer technical and commercial requirements and translate them into optimized engineering solutions, including product configuration, scope definition, schedules, industrial schemes, and cost estimates<\/li>\n<li>Perform technical calculations and analyses related to plant, system, and equipment performance, efficiency, and economics<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document technical specifications, performance assumptions, and costing elements to support contract execution and downstream engineering activities<\/li>\n<li>Support order\u2011to\u2011remittance (OTR) activities by customizing products and solutions to meet specific customer and project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Apply in\u2011depth market and application knowledge to strengthen value propositions and support competitive bid strategies<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a technical reference and quality resource within the discipline, continuously building specialized knowledge and staying informed on the latest technical developments<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and application of best practices, technical standards, and engineering policies within the area of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Use engineering judgment and data analysis to solve moderately complex technical, operational, or product challenges and recommend effective solutions<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, technology, and commercial functions, using multiple internal and selected external information sources<\/li>\n<li>Act as a mentor and technical resource for less experienced engineers; may lead small to medium projects with moderate risk and complexity<\/li>\n<li>Communicate complex or sensitive technical topics clearly and effectively, building alignment and consensus with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience in Engineering, Technology, or Customer Application Engineering roles<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical background with the ability to develop, evaluate, and optimize engineered solutions<\/li>\n<li>Education level comparable to a Master\u2019s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or a high school diploma with extensive relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired Characteristics<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Well\u2011developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, data\u2011driven solutions<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading or contributing to technical programs or projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to document, plan, and execute technical and engineering activities effectively<\/li>\n<li>Established project management skills and a structured approach to work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lead Engineer \u2013 Customer Application Engineering plays a key role in developing competitive, high\u2011quality technical solutions that meet customer and market needs.
