You\u2019ll lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, taking responsibility for their commercial performance, and provide commercial and contractual advice to Sales and Projects teams. You\u2019ll coach and develop your team, including apprentices, ensuring successful financial outcomes while mitigating company risk. You\u2019ll promote continuous learning within your team and collaborate internally and externally to share best practice.<\/p>\n<p>A key part of the role involves contract and account management for high-risk, high\u2011profile projects, ensuring timely and profitable negotiations on variations and final accounts. You\u2019ll manage change processes, identify claims, calculate value entitlements, and ensure contracts are administered correctly. You\u2019ll also provide ongoing commercial support to your team and act as an escalation point for clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Look For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. 7 years\u2019 experience as a Quantity Surveyor on projects from \u00a3100k to \u00a310m<\/li>\n<li>RICS accredited or working towards accreditation<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) environments<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of commercial and financial risk<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead large commercial projects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical details to non-technical audiences<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee quantity surveying and commercial management across projects from contract award to completion.
