This role provides design coordination, technical oversight and documentation management while working closely with senior Design Managers, engineering teams and Clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers, to achieve high-quality and integrated design solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Support the management of the design process using commercial, contractual, time and technical awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure design information is of the appropriate quality and delivered to meet project programme requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the design process complies with relevant legislation, standards and industry codes of practice.<\/li>\n<li>Support preparation and review of technical drawings, design models, calculations and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update design documentation, including revisions and approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in risk reduction by ensuring health and safety considerations are embedded into designs.<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external design reviews and coordination meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in client communication, helping present design proposals and progress updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<article class=\"article article--details \">\n<div class=\"article__content\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field bold\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field__value\">\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/HNC\/Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IMechE) is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Some prior experience in design management or technical engineering design within relevant sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of engineering standards and regulatory requirements in the energy sector.<\/li>\n<li>Experience contributing to multi-disciplinary engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and documentation abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure projects within the energy and power sector.
