This senior role will drive delivery excellence for major transmission clients and OEMs, ensuring we remain a trusted partner for strategic national infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the delivery of EHV and HVDC cable systems across all high\u2011voltage ranges.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with National Grid and OEM specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee cable route development, installation sequencing, and engineering assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage commercial performance, including pricing, estimating, and contract oversight.<\/li>\n<li>Drive performance against cost, schedule, quality, and safety KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Provide effective contractor\u2011facing leadership and build strong client relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and support developing talent in line with Jacobs\u2019 strategic growth priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project phases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<article class=\"article article--details \">\n<div class=\"article__content\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field bold\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field__value\">\n<ul>\n<li data-pasted=\"true\">Extensive experience delivering EHN (132kv- 400kv+) and HVDC cable projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of National Grid, SSE and OEM specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of leading high-value linear cable projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and procurement.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered status with an industry recognised organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your impact We are seeking an experienced EHV and HVDC Cable Delivery Specialist to lead the planning, commercial management, and delivery of extra\u2011high\u2011voltage linear cable projects across the UK.
