With a strong focus on medium- and high-voltage and civil engineering scope, you will partner closely with the <strong>Bid Team, Sales Engineering, Procurement, Product Management, and Project Execution<\/strong> teams to develop accurate, competitive, and technically robust EPC cost estimates and proposals.<\/p>\n<p>While the position is <strong>based in Germany<\/strong>, it supports the full EMEA organization -including the UK, Benelux, and additional markets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Bid Team to translate customer requirements into compelling and\u00a0optimized\u00a0technical energy storage solution proposals in close cooperation with the\u00a0EMEA Sales (Engineering) teams with strong focus on Medium-,High Voltage and\u00a0Civil content.<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain a pricing table database of key components of big scale BESS.<\/li>\n<li>Support Procurement to set up a network to source BOP components within the\u00a0to\u00a0Procurement\u00a0Support\u00a0EMEA region.<\/li>\n<li>Take the lead in soliciting and evaluating proposals from BOP contractors (Electrical and Civil) and\u00a0equipment vendors in collaboration with Procurement team<\/li>\n<li>Develop accurate EPC costs and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Support qualification of potential Subcontractors for electrical and civil content\u00a0(focus on MV and HV). Handover all technical details of transacted deals to the\u00a0Project execution teams and support in initial start-up of the project especially for\u00a0MV and\u00a0HV scope.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate product readiness, product availability and pricing with the Product\u00a0Management, Manufacturing and the Procurement departments to feed into the\u00a0offering stage.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular travel across the EMEA region as required\u00a0(Approx. 15%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle\u00a0multi-stakeholder\u00a0requests and communicate results.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to review contracts, RFPs and engineering drawings to determine key\u00a0requirements. Perform take offs from drawings and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience working in energy storage, solar, other power generation\u00a0or industrial balance of plant (e.g. EPC works)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of standards, codes and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Passion and entrepreneurial drive, ability to prioritize and execute many parallel tasks.<\/li>\n<li>High level of ownership of opportunities and drive to close them to meet Fluence\u00a0business targets<\/li>\n<li>Strong coordination and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Effective in a highly collaborative, fast-moving, and informally structured\u00a0environment.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken German and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experiences as a Project Manager or\u00a0Construction Manager are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a Senior BESS-EPC Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting Fluence\u2019s rapidly expanding energy storage business across the EMEA region.
