We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Employee\u2019s responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the co-ordination of all CSA, MECH and ELEC work packages.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Site Safety in conjunction with Mercury Safety Advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of file.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury Project Manager and team including set up, management and close out of file.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer\/Architect to Mercury Engineering and Client requirements<\/li>\n<li>Management of all costs associated with Project with the support of the project QS including:\n<ul>\n<li>Labour<\/li>\n<li>Material<\/li>\n<li>Plant and Equipment<\/li>\n<li>Variations<\/li>\n<li>Valuations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Management of all day to day site operations<\/li>\n<li>Direct management of Mercury Engineering project team including alignment of all discipline leads to the benefit of project goals.<\/li>\n<li>Managing and leading the collaborative meetings on-site with the Mercury team and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li>Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractor.<\/li>\n<li>Management of the Mercury \u201cIn Progress\u201d snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and management of the General Operatives, Security, Telehandler drivers, traffic marshals, etc and will be responsible for compliance with the agreed commercial budget.<\/li>\n<li>Management of the overall site logistics on site.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the Mercury Engineering culture of safety and quality through the project.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the safety and quality leadership required on all Mercury projects.<\/li>\n<li>Review the weekly progress report before it is issued to all stakeholders. Highlight areas not available, and delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage<\/li>\n<li>Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Close out of all project items including Final Account, O &amp; M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan \u2013 all with the Support of your Project team.<\/li>\n<li>Issue Daily Report to the Project Manager<\/li>\n<li>Issue weekly safety stats &amp; project labour projections.<\/li>\n<li>Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement company procedures with the Project Managers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost &amp; Programme).<\/li>\n<li>Review drawings and setting out details.<\/li>\n<li>Produce builders works drawings for services.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out distribute &amp; close out CSA snags.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties associated with this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good strong working knowledge of CSA Construction process<\/li>\n<li>5-7 years experience as a CSA Construction Manager\/ Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Trade background or third level education in a relevant engineering\/ construction background<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in coordinating and managing large scale projects<\/li>\n<li>Data Centre experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We build and manage complex engineering &amp; construction projects for the world\u2019s leading corporations.
