We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Quality Manager in achieving contract quality objectives by coordinating activities, monitoring compliance, and providing proactive feedback on quality performance.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the company\u2019s quality vision and strategic goals by encouraging best practices across project teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct routine and ad hoc site inspections to verify that construction, fabrication, or installation activities are executed in accordance with approved ITPs, specifications, and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Plan, coordinate, and deliver quality-related training and induction sessions for all Mercury personnel and supply chain partners, ensuring consistent understanding of project standards, procedures, and compliance expectations across the workforce.<\/li>\n<li>Support the creation and submission of contractual and internal quality deliverables, including plans, reports, and records, ensuring they are timely, complete, and aligned with project specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Review and monitor the technical deliverables submitted by vendors and contractors\u2014such as test plans, procedures, and certifications\u2014to confirm they meet contractual and regulatory expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse all documentation provided by subcontractors and vendors to ensure it complies with relevant standards and project requirements, identifying issues and following up for corrections.<\/li>\n<li>Examine Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for clarity, technical completeness, proper sequencing, and alignment with codes and project specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of project-specific quality procedures by guiding project teams and ensuring proper adoption of standardized processes.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee quality-related documentation from contractors, confirming its relevance, accuracy, and adherence to the agreed-upon quality specifications and formats.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule and perform internal and supply chain audits at critical project stages to evaluate compliance, uncover risks, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and raise non-conformances when work or deliverables fall short of specification; lead the resolution process with clear documentation and root cause analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Scrutinize project deliverables such as work packs, test packs, and documentation handovers to verify they fully reflect quality requirements prior to acceptance or release.<\/li>\n<li>Compile detailed weekly and monthly reports capturing quality performance, non-conformance trends, and corrective actions; manage KPI metrics to evaluate overall effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria for the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years Quality experience in construction\/engineering\/petrochemical and \/ or within a multinational manufacturing.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, equivalent to BSc, in engineering (CSA, Electrical or Mechanical).<\/li>\n<li>ISO 9001:2015 Lead or Internal Auditor.<\/li>\n<li>Presenting and Training skillset.<\/li>\n<li>High ability to read and interpret QMS documents such Plans, Procedures (SOPs), Inspection and Test Plans.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Mercury is an equal opportunities employer<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mercury is the European leader in construction solutions.
