Our focus includes High-Voltage Substations, Green Hydrogen Platforms, Gas Production and Processing Modules, Carbon Capturing Storage infrastructures and Steel Jacket Foundations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smulders HSM is looking for a Medewerker Technische Dienst to strengthen our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping installations, equipment and facilities at our production location in Schiedam in good working condition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will contribute directly to a safe working environment and to reliable, well-functioning technical processes across our site. This is a varied, hands-on position in which you will carry out installation, maintenance and repair work and support the continuity of our production facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Technical Services Technician, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installing electrical systems, including pulling cables and wiring, mounting pipes and installing distribution boards.<\/li>\n<li>Installing temporary electrical and factory gas facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Mounting and connecting components such as switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, data networks and security systems.<\/li>\n<li>Inspecting, maintaining and repairing existing electrical installations.<\/li>\n<li>Inspecting and certifying tools and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and resolving minor faults in electrical and gas installations.<\/li>\n<li>Reading technical drawings and diagrams.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing the required materials and tools for the work to be carried out.<\/li>\n<li>Working in accordance with applicable safety regulations, including NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We are looking for a practical, reliable and safety-conscious colleague with:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical insight and an understanding of how electrical systems work.<\/li>\n<li>A precise, quality-focused and safety-oriented way of working.<\/li>\n<li>Good physical condition and a hands-on mentality.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably several years of relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>A team-oriented attitude, while also being able to work independently when required.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work at another location, such as Stormpolder, when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to occasionally work overtime or during weekends.<\/li>\n<li>A forklift certificate and\/or overhead crane certificate is considered an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0What Smulders HSM offers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A challenging role within a leading company in the offshore substation sector.<\/li>\n<li>A pleasant working environment with skilled and experienced colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to contribute to large-scale, sustainable offshore energy projects.<\/li>\n<li>A competitive salary and attractive benefits package in accordance with the Metalektro Collective Labour Agreement, including a 60% employer pension contribution.<\/li>\n<li>27 vacation days and 13 additional days off.<\/li>\n<li>Development budget available for job-related training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Smulders HSM is an integrated solution provider in EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) of multi-disciplinary offshore projects.
