We cover all phases of the project lifecycle from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning to handover. \u00a0We also provide specialist technical support to colleagues across our global business, offering fantastic opportunities to get involved in diverse and technically complex work. The scale of investment required in AMP8 is a significant challenge but also a major opportunity to provide a long-lasting legacy to our clients and their regions. \u00a0Given this, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team of mechanical, electrical and ICA engineers and provide technical excellence, leadership and direction on a range of water projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing the MEICA design and integration with other disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Managing and contributing to the preparation of design deliverables to achieve the correct time \/ cost \/ quality balance for the project<\/li>\n<li>Working with the resource manager to manage project resources and to grow and develop our capability through recruitment and training<\/li>\n<li>Business development including providing specialist support to our Account Leaders and Practices, and leading on proposals and tenders in the water and waste water fields<\/li>\n<li>Programme and financial management of small to medium sized projects with a MEICA bias<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a Chartered mechanical Engineer, keen to make a difference in the sector, take wide responsibilities and progress professionally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An in-depth knowledge of water treatment and wastewater treatment equipment including pumping systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills to interact with other disciplines and clients, and to develop and promote the team<\/li>\n<li>A capability to manage design delivery, and project manage<\/li>\n<li>A team leader capable of managing and motivating individuals to consistently delivery<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to contribute to and develop technical knowledge networks<\/li>\n<li>A drive to be abreast of professional development and knowledge of current and emerging technical solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview of the role Our Water Consultancy Division has ambitious growth plans in line with AMP8 investment needs and we are proud of our strong reputation in the industry which&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_rate_min":"","_rate_max":"","_company_name":"Mott MacDonald","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[35,145],"job-types":[2,5],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-16407","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-energetyka","6":"job_listing_category-inne","7":"job_listing_type-umowa-o-prace","8":"job_listing_type-kontrakt","9":"work-model-praca-hybrydowa","10":"job-level-senior","12":"job-type-umowa-o-prace","13":"job-type-kontrakt"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
