You contribute your technical expertise to the analysis, planning, and optimisation of subsea cable systems and play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient project execution. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, supporting projects throughout the entire engineering lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support cable stabilisation initiatives within the Operations unit<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and interpret cable system models and validate engineering assumptions<\/li>\n<li>Develop stabilisation and protection concepts (e.g. rock berms, rock bags, mattressing)<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support during installation and operational activities, including offshore work<\/li>\n<li>Translate inspection data into engineering recommendations, risk assessments, and remediation concepts<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical requirements, Scopes of Work (SoW), and detailed design deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Support tendering and procurement processes, including evaluation of supplier proposals<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Job requirements and experience<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Engineering with a focus on offshore, marine, or a comparable field<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of subsea cable system design as well as seabed assessment and preparation<\/li>\n<li>Experience in cable protection system (CPS) design, ideally including scour protection<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in cable motion analysis and experience with software such as OrcaFlex<\/li>\n<li>More than 5 years of experience in the offshore wind industry or related sectors<\/li>\n<li>In-depth experience in engineering offshore subsea cables (wind, telecommunications, or oil &amp; gas)<\/li>\n<li>Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this role, you support our Operations unit in delivering cable stabilisation initiatives in the offshore environment.
