We are your reliable partner for structural design, with specialized know\u2011how in timber construction, surveying, fire protection, as well as new construction, refurbishments, and rehabilitation projects.<\/p>\n<p>To strengthen our team in Rapperswil, we are looking for a committed personality as a<strong>\u00a0structural designer in building design<\/strong>. In this exciting position, you will work on challenging construction projects and use your skills in the planning and designing of building structures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your key responsibilities are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creation of precise 3D models and 2D execution plans for demanding building construction projects in the field of concrete construction, steel construction, excavations and foundations.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of BIM-capable models and participation in coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Development of practical and economically interesting solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Close cooperation with our designers; engineers, and specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your chances<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exciting projects in building construction from residential buildings to commercial and public buildings.<\/li>\n<li>Participation in motivated, interdisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Must-have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in the planning of building construction projects<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in the use of 3D CAD planning software (Allplan or Tekla)<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a\u00a0structural designer the field of civil engineering for building construction projects (solid construction of concrete and steel, construction pits and foundations)<\/li>\n<li>3D excavation models with pit closures<\/li>\n<li>Modelling \/ attribution of reinforcement for execution (incl. creation of reinforcement lists) of foundations, walls, ceilings, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of BIM2Field models with the appropriate level of detail.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed construction and planning of steel construction connections.<\/li>\n<li>Oral and written German language skills (at least B1)<\/li>\n<li>Oral and written English skills (at least B2)<\/li>\n<li>Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working<\/li>\n<li>Proactive communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Good-to-have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in Swiss projects before.<\/li>\n<li>Good German skills at B2 or higher level.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced English skills (at least C1)<\/li>\n<li>Interdisciplinary Coordination Experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working\u00a0closely with architects and other specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with International Codes and Standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Company Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AFRY provides engineering, design, digital and advisory services to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society.<\/p>\n<p>AFRY employs over 18,000 professionals in more than 50 countries.\u00a0Net sales in 2024 were SEK 27,160 million.<\/p>\n<p>AFRY is organized into three Divisions: Energy; Industry and Transportation &amp; Places.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Division Transportation &amp; Places is active within transportation infrastructure, real estate, water and environment in the Nordics and Central Europe.
