{"id":16789,"date":"2026-05-26T11:49:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T09:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/senior-principal-civil-water-engineer\/"},"modified":"2026-05-26T11:49:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T09:49:18","slug":"atkinsrealis-senior-principal-civil-water-engineer-glasgow-wielka-brytania","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/atkinsrealis-senior-principal-civil-water-engineer-glasgow-wielka-brytania\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior\/Principal Civil Water Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Your role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Principal Civil Water Engineer in the D&amp;AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Water engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects following relevant national and project specific design codes and standards, and to high\u2011quality levels in areas such as hydraulics, wastewater and clean water infrastructure, water reuse, and pipelines.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for producing and reviewing technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work with defined scope.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical input into project design deliverables for Civil Water aspects of complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects and work with the project management team to successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with client, operational, project, or service activities within your immediate team and other related AtkinsR\u00e9alis teams.<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues and help to grow the Civil Water Engineering capabilities within the local team.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently with minimal technical guidance. Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems where appropriate and provide guidance to junior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support for bid proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with a multi\u2011disciplinary team in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to quality assurance standards in design including check and review of your own work as well as others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Water engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy included within a multi\u2011disciplinary environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in collaborating with Contractors and the ability and knowledge to deliver across the full project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions to design problems.<\/li>\n<li>Requires strong knowledge and practical experience in risk assessment, quality control, design management and collaboration with key disciplines involved in water infrastructure design and delivery, for example MEICA, structures, and geotechnics.<\/li>\n<li>Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM regulations, Eurocodes, regulatory bodies, water utility standards, NEC.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, CDEs, ArcGIS, MS Suite, Power BI.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the Water market is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi\u2011disciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, highly motivated mindset with a collaborative approach to drive teamwork and share success across projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your role As a Principal Civil Water Engineer in the D&amp;AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities: Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Water engineers for&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_rate_min":"","_rate_max":"","_company_name":"AtkinsRealis","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[37,147],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-16789","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_category-budownictwo","job_listing_category-inne-budownictwo","job_listing_type-umowa-o-prace","work-model-praca-hybrydowa","job-level-senior","job-type-umowa-o-prace"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
