You will be an approachable member of the Team acting as a trusted point of contact for day\u2011to\u2011day IT support.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond operational support, the Site IT Technician plays an important role in building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Oxford office. You will act as a local IT ambassador, helping teams understand and get the most out of the technology available to them, and proactively increasing technology awareness through engagement, communication and education initiatives such as regular internal Tech Sessions.<\/p>\n<p>This is a<strong>\u00a0fully office-based role<\/strong>, working closely with the wider global IT team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide first\u2011 and second\u2011line desk\u2011side and remote support, including hardware troubleshooting, laptop repair, application support and user queries<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Take ownership of user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth, consistent and secure experience for new starters and leavers<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Deploy, configure and administer end\u2011user systems and services, including Microsoft 365 (Office, OneDrive, SharePoint), endpoint protection, VPN and collaboration tools<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage hardware provisioning, asset lifecycle and software deployments, including operating system builds, upgrades, patches and security updates<\/li>\n<li>Support and monitor meeting room technology, video\u2011conferencing equipment and local network devices<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide operational support for large internal calls and events using Microsoft Teams and Zoom<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Oxford office, acting as a trusted local IT contact<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Help plan and deliver internal tech awareness initiatives (such as monthly Tech Sessions) to promote best practice, improve adoption and enhance ways of working<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Collect user feedback and work with the wider IT team to identify opportunities for service, tooling and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Contribute to the development of IT documentation, knowledgebase articles, systems and local IT processes<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Collaborate effectively with international offices and external suppliers<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assist with ad\u2011hoc operational tasks, including office moves and occasional furniture assembly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Experience supporting users in a Windows 10\/11 environment<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Hands\u2011on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Confident provisioning, configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience diagnosing and resolving endpoint, application and peripheral issues<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Understanding of networking fundamentals and wireless connectivity<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience working with a ticketing system (e.g. Jira Service Management)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strong customer service mindset with clear, professional communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Well organised, able to prioritise effectively and work with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast\u2011changing environment<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Confidence engaging with non\u2011technical stakeholders and explaining technology in an approachable way<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Experience with Azure AD, Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Microsoft Teams administration and troubleshooting experience<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Exposure to AV and meeting room solutions<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience creating technical documentation or knowledge\ufffcbase content<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Familiarity with cloud VPN or zero\ufffctrust access solutions<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Microsoft or IT support certifications; understanding of ITIL and awareness of GDPR<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A desire to progress within IT and
