Role Overview<\/p>\n

The\u00a0(Senior)\u00a0Marketing Manager Germany will define,\u00a0shape\u00a0and implement Fluence\u2019s marketing strategy\u00a0for Germany, a key market in Fluence company strategy. The role will drive\u00a0Fluence\u2019s\u00a0brand\u00a0visibility and\u00a0reputation in the energy sector as trusted German supplier for\u00a0large scale energy storage\u00a0infrastructure.<\/div>\n
The successful candidate will\u00a0be responsible for\u00a0designing and implementing lead generation campaigns and\u00a0be responsible for\u00a0account-based marketing tools to support the transaction of existing and new\u00a0customers.\u00a0The role will be base in Berlin or Erlangen, report to the\u00a0Director of Marketing\u00a0and closely collaborate with\u00a0VP Growth, Germany\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0global\u00a0marketing\u00a0and communications\u00a0organisations\u00a0at Fluence. Other key stakeholders include Account Management, Business Development,\u00a0Strategy\u00a0and Policy.<\/div>\n

To succeed in this role,\u00a0you\u00a0will need to develop\u00a0a deep understanding of the German energy sector\u00a0and proven track-record in thriving success in a technical B2B environment. We are looking for an\u00a0experienced\u00a0Marketing professional, who is ready to support the growth of\u00a0the German market leader in the exponentially growing energy storage industry.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  • Create and execute on an integrated marketing strategy that supports business goals for the German core market. Track results against desired objectives and report progress on a monthly basis.<\/li>\n
  • Development & execution of lead generation campaigns with the use of Account Based Marketing tools and techniques, including automated multi-level email campaigns;\u00a0proactively innovate and\u00a0integrate AI and\u00a0Marktech into lead generation and account management.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with the German sales team and apply Account-Based Marketing techniques to enhance the customer experience. Support with other sales enablement activities as needed, such as creating sales collateral and content.<\/li>\n
  • Work closely with the European Communications Manager to identify and manage key media relationships\u00a0in German\u00a0business and trade publications.\u00a0Support press relase development,\u00a0influencer engagement, public relations and media strategies\u00a0when\u00a0required and in coordination with the communication function.<\/li>\n
  • Own the conference\u00a0and trade exhibition\u00a0schedule\u00a0relevant to German market. Identify and coordinate external speaking engagements and develop core messages. Coordinate conference sponsorships and tradeshows, including booth design, sponsorship deliverables, and event invitations with the\u00a0European and\u00a0global marketing team.<\/li>\n
  • Develop clear, concise, and creative copy for blog posts, regional trade publications, newsletters, & social\/digital media by working with the relevant teams across the business\u00a0and communications stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Closely collaborate with other marketing & communication\u00a0teams and stakeholders, at the\u00a0European and\u00a0global\u00a0levels,\u00a0to leverage resources\u00a0& tools\u00a0and create\u00a0overall\u00a0the\u00a0most value for the business.\u00a0Provide feedback, communicate best practices, and share lessons learned.<\/li>\n
  • Development of impactful social media content & digital campaigns in collaboration with the global Digital Marketing Team. Providing regular templates of social media content for the\u00a0German\u00a0team.<\/li>\n
  • Manage\u00a0external\u00a0marketing consultants, as needed. Work closely with our creative resources such as graphic designers\u00a0to ensure high quality output.\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Required\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0and Experience\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
      \n
    • 7-10\u00a0years of\u00a0experience in marketing, either agency or in-house;\u00a0strong\u00a0experience within\u00a0a\u00a0B2B\u00a0marketing role.<\/li>\n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, business administration,\u00a0engineering\u00a0or similar field.<\/li>\n
    • Take individual initiative and work with minimal supervision while being a collaborative team player.<\/li>\n
    • Communicate effectively with global and European functional teams, including sales, product, supply chain, and commercial teams, among others.<\/li>\n
    • Posses\u00a0excellent organizational and time management skills.\u00a0Experience in using Salesforce\u00a0and\u00a0marketing CRM\u00a0\/ automation\u00a0tools such as\u00a0HubSpot\u00a0or Pardot\u00a0is\u00a0a must.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in\u00a0managing\u00a0Account Based Marketing tools\u00a0and\u00a0techniques, and developing ABM campaigns.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in events management and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with emerging trends (AI in\u00a0marketing,\u00a0personalization).<\/li>\n
    • Collaborative team player,\u00a0who views the success of the team as their own success.<\/li>\n
    • Strong content writing and proofreading skills\u00a0in German and English.<\/li>\n
    • Great attention to detail,\u00a0organisation, and planning skills.<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to learn fast; comfort with evolving priorities and juggling multiple deliverables simultaneously.<\/li>\n
    • Growth mindset and\u00a0a desire\u00a0to learn continuously, work hard, be detail-oriented, analyze, and experiment.\u00a0Experience and\/or strong interest in the Energy\/Cleantech sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
