We are seeking a\u00a0<strong>Senior Associate Director of Transport Planning<\/strong>\u00a0delivering a wide range of high\u2011profile and innovative projects across all aspects of transport planning, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transport modelling and analytics<\/li>\n<li>Economic appraisal and business cases<\/li>\n<li>Active travel and sustainable transport<\/li>\n<li>Public transport planning<\/li>\n<li>Traffic engineering<\/li>\n<li>Policy and strategy development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key commissions include our ongoing role on the BusConnects programme for the National Transport Authority (NTA), alongside active travel and sustainable transport schemes for Dublin City Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and other local authorities.You have the opportunity to take a leading position on complex projects that are shaping the future of transport and mobility in Ireland, while also collaborating closely with colleagues across Ireland, the UK and internationally.The role is flexible in location\u2014Dublin, Cork or Belfast\u2014and combines hands\u2011on technical delivery with project leadership, client engagement and people development. There is also the opportunity for client secondments, reflecting Jacobs\u2019 long\u2011standing partnerships with key organisations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Be Responsible For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing technical and strategic leadership on major transport planning commissions<\/li>\n<li>Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high\u2011quality outcomes for clients<\/li>\n<li>Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, shaping strategy, options and investment decisions<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical governance, review and mentoring across the transport planning discipline<\/li>\n<li>Managing project delivery, budgets, resources, quality and risk<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to business development, tenders and the growth of client accounts<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the strategic direction and future development of Jacobs\u2019 transport planning and mobility business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<article class=\"article article--details \">\n<div class=\"article__content\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view\">\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field bold\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field__value\">\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<div data-pasted=\"true\">\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent), with extensive experience in transport planning and a proven track record of successful project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Chartered professional (or equivalent), or working towards Chartered status, with a strong commitment to CPD (e.g. Engineers Ireland, CIHT, TPP, CEng)<\/li>\n<li>A strategic, solution\u2011focused mindset, with the ability to take a broad view of transport challenges and collaboratively shape options with clients and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical credibility combined with the ability to lead teams, set direction and provide mentoring and technical assurance<\/li>\n<li>Broad experience across transport planning specialisms, such as scheme feasibility, transport assessments, modelling, business case development, public transport and active travel<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in project and commercial management, including programme delivery, budget control, resourcing, quality assurance and risk management<\/li>\n<li>A strong client focus, with experience developing relationships, contributing to tenders and supporting market and account growth<\/li>\n<li>A flexible and adaptable approach, with enthusiasm for innovation, new technologies and shaping the future of transport and mobility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>At Jacobs, we recognise that our people are our greatest asset.
