As a key member of our Bridges and Structures team, you\u2019ll help lead our transformation into a solutions-focused provider, leveraging new technologies, digital processes, and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to our clients. With a strong focus on sustainability and decarbonisation, you\u2019ll apply your advanced technical engineering, interpersonal, and organisational skills to support the delivery of bridges & structures solutions across highways, rail, aviation, energy, and power sectors.<\/p>\n

Key deliverables: (not limited to)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Lead and mentor teams in structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender, preliminary and detailed designs, and the production of contract documents and technical reports.<\/li>\n
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing data-driven, automated, and standardised solutions to improve project efficiency and productivity.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated services and high-quality sustainable outcomes for clients.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with our UK and Europe, and Global Integrated Delivery teams to optimise resources and ensure successful project delivery.<\/li>\n
  • Manage and maintain client relationships representing Jacobs\u2019 wide offerings to sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Here’s what you’ll need<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
      \n
    • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline)<\/li>\n
    • A professional qualification ICE\/IStructE Chartered or equivalent with the ambition to progress to Fellowship status<\/li>\n
    • Either project and\/or discipline management and leadership skills related to bridge design (or other disciplines)<\/li>\n
    • And\/or strong technical design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in major crossings and\/or projects, rail, asset management, structures renewals and post-tensioned structures, including post-tensioned special inspections (PTSI).<\/p>\n
