With a history dating back to 1862, NOV supports customers across the full lifecycle of energy operations, delivering innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A highly autonomous role with real ownership and impact<\/li>\n<li>Strong support from a global EPS \/ HSE network<\/li>\n<li>Stable employment in a well-established international company<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for global career development within NOV<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to a wide range of HSE areas (compliance, ESG, offshore, audits, systems)<\/li>\n<li>A growing market environment in Norway with long-term prospects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, develop, and continuously improve the local HSE management system<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Norwegian legislation, NOV standards, and ISO 45001 \/ 14001<\/li>\n<li>Lead incident investigations and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and implement NOV EPS HSE programs, policies, and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments<\/li>\n<li>Support emergency response planning and drills<\/li>\n<li>Deliver HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report HSE performance metrics and KPIs<\/li>\n<li>Support environmental initiatives, including waste management and ESG reporting<\/li>\n<li>Act as the main contact for HSE matters with management, regulators, contractors, and clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support tender and contract HSE documentation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain HSE documentation and compliance registers<\/li>\n<li>Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 5 years of experience in HSE<\/li>\n<li>Experience in HSE within manufacturing and\/or oil &amp; gas environments<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English (written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Norwegian regulations and fluency in Norwegian<\/li>\n<li>Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HSE systems and management systems<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of regulatory compliance and HSE best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desired Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in the energy sector \/ oil &amp; gas<\/li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with ISO 9001 \/ 14001 \/ 45001<\/li>\n<li>Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Industrial Protection (Industrivern)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HSE systems audited locally and globally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Soft Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open and communicative personality<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and approachable mindset<\/li>\n<li>Coaching-oriented approach<\/li>\n<li>Professional and ethical attitude<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle pressure and a high workload<\/li>\n<li>Strong prioritization skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and adapt, especially in offshore environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Role We are looking for an experienced\u00a0HSE Specialist\u00a0to independently manage, develop, and continuously improve HSE activities at site level in Stavanger.
