As a Traveling Service Technician at Vestas, you can have an exciting job and develop your career in a constantly growing organization with the latest technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Region NCE and Global Offshore &gt; Global Offshore &gt; Travelling Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Offshore Service Technician will work together with technicians in a team acting as Authorised Technicians. The Offshore Service Technician will implement varied work on WTGs under Service O&amp;M, also Upgrade campaigns, Main Component Exchanges, and Blade campaigns throughout the Vestas Offshore WTG fleet. You will work conjointly with other members of Vestas sites in particular the Authorising Engineers, Service managers, Project managers, and Supervisors as well as with sub-contractors and Customer Service &amp; construction teams, overseeing that all AT tasks are carried out effectively in a safe and timely manner.<\/p>\n<p>You will also have the opportunity to work across all platforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring a safe work practice by acting in compliance with Vestas HSE requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring own P.P.E checks are done, and monthly check sheets are logged<\/li>\n<li>Daily communication with Service Managers, SP Supervisors, and Project Managers<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, registering, and coordinating deviations<\/li>\n<li>Trouble shooting of electrical and mechanical systems and fault diagnosis<\/li>\n<li>Registration of time and material consumption in Vestas systems<\/li>\n<li>Carry out the maintenance, repair and replacement activities of turbine components<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marine Engineer, Electrician, or technical degree from a school\/college\/university<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems. Beneficially in wind, offshore or HV environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with wind turbine technology is beneficial<\/li>\n<li>A focus on safety and a collaborative spirit are essential for this role<\/li>\n<li>Valid driving license<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English skills (spoken and written)<\/li>\n<li>Literate with PC and modern technologies to support your day-to-day work, such as proficiency in MS Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Effective and determinded problem solver, with an respectful approach who inspires and encourages others<\/li>\n<li>You are a team member who recognize your own limitations and are willing to seek help when needed<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read\/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Motivation to learn new skills and thrive in a growing industry as well as having an efficient continuous improvement mindset<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of various hand tools<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills that enhance teamwork and collaborative efforts within a small group<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective issues that this brings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer an exciting job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, collaborative, and international work environment in the renewable energy sector.
