They will be tasked with solving complex IT Pillar-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. They may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and are regarded as a specialist in the field of IT Pillar. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in the IT Pillar as well as broad knowledge of the IT Pillar discipline within the Information Technology function.<\/p>\n<p>The AVEVA E3D Administrator is a key technical role responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AVEVA E3D software within the organization. The role requires strong expertise in PML and .NET, with hands-on experience in AVEVA Engineering considered an advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Setup &amp; Administration\n<ul>\n<li>Configure and maintain AVEVA E3D projects, including database structures, access control, and user management.<\/li>\n<li>Global Administration of Aveva E3D, which includes setting up satellite databases, managing global communications, and handling data extracts.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and enforce project-specific procedures and company standards for E3D usage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Technical Expertise\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of AVEVA E3D, Paragon, PML, CATS, SPECS, and related modules.<\/li>\n<li>Perform system customization, macro development, and automation using PML and .NET to optimize productivity and workflow efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Manage integration workflows for 3D model export\/import with fabrication and engineering analysis tools.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of Catalogues for all disciplines, as per vendor data, by taking into account various aspects and attention to detailing<\/li>\n<li>Pipe, Tray &amp; HVAC Support configuration\/customization as per project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Customization of various reports to cater to project requirements &amp; Fabrication requests<\/li>\n<li>Set up the clash management and run clash reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>User Support &amp; Training\n<ul>\n<li>Provide end-user training on system usage and customizations.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with discipline leads to capture requirements and ensure timely, quality deliverables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance &amp; Troubleshooting\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine model audits, data verification, and compliance checks.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolutions promptly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Deliverables &amp; Reporting\n<ul>\n<li>Generate reports from E3D models for layout and material groups.<\/li>\n<li>Configure ISODRAFT for isometric generation per project and client specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Configure (including troubleshooting) and extract key deliverables like Material Take Off (MTO), piping isometrics, equipment lists, line lists, weight reports, etc<\/li>\n<li>Setup &amp; configure drawing styles &amp; rulesets for extraction of various types of 2D drawings for various disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Maintain NAVISWORKS model review files and ensure accessibility for all disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"cc-row\">\n<div class=\"cc-row__content cc-columns-count-1\" data-bind=\"class: 'cc-columns-count-' + columns.length, style: { gap: gap}\">\n<div class=\"cc-column cc-column--default\" data-bind=\"style: { \n        backgroundColor: params.backgroundColor,\n        backgroundImage: backgroundSrc,\n        borderRadius: borderRadius,\n        maxWidth:maxWidth,\n        height: height },\n               class: 'cc-column--' + size() + className\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"cc-column__content\" data-bind=\"style:{padding: padding}\">\n<div class=\"component-styling-wrapper-9039\" data-bind=\"class: uniqueWrapperClass\">\n<div class=\"job-details__section\" data-bind=\"\n            class: customizationParams.commonParams.cssClass,\n            attr: { id: customizationParams.commonParams.cssId },\n            customStyles: customizationParams.commonParams,\n        \"><\/p>\n<p class=\"job-details__description-header text-color-secondary font-family-secondary\" data-bind=\"i18n: 'job-details.job-qualifications-title'\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"job-details__description-content basic-formatter\" data-bind=\"html: pageData().job.qualifications\">\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong proficiency in AVEVA E3D Engineering administration, including project setup and customization.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of PML (including PML-2 object-oriented programming) and .NET.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience in E3D Administration<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and data management practices to achieve project execution goals<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to engineering data management<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Aveva Engineering and Aveva Integration Services is considered an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Aveva Unified Engineering and Spectrum is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Overview: The Principal IT Pillar Specialist is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices.
