The role requires multi-disciplinary expertise and must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the HSES discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the HSE management system in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policy<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Support the Development and management of HSES Budgets, Staffing requirements, and look-ahead schedules<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Manage HSES compliance strategy, business continuity and contingency planning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Represent the consortium HSES before client for reporting purposes or as required by project director\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure that the correct level of manning for HSES activities (onshore &amp;offshore) is maintained<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Travel to project sites and cover for rotation staff on leave as required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure HSES readiness before marine campaign<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Schedule vessel visit during project execution and conduct inspections<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Liaise with client HSES representatives and ensure good rapport<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Oversee HSES effectiveness, strategies, and improvement programs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure that all HSES functional personnel are performing as required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Lead or participate as SME in Incident Investigations and reporting<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">HSE incidents, assess risk, and oversee corrective actions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Maintain statistics and metrics, determine performance trends, and prepare regular reports<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Prepare HSES audit plans and conduct audits<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Facilitate HAZID\u2019s and other risk reviews<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure that the performance of all subcontractors is monitored and evaluated<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Provide HSES input to Management of Changes (MOC\u2019s) and Lessons Learned<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Review \/ approve subcontractors and vendors for equipment and services<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ensure MEDEVAC interfaces with client, vessels and onshore medical support are tested at periodic intervals and effective<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Attend and provide input to forums such as kick-off meetings, constructability reviews, readiness reviews, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"cc-row\">\n<div class=\"cc-row__content cc-columns-count-1\" data-bind=\"class: pageData().job.qualifications\">\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications and Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in HSES related field\u202ften plus (10+) years of HSE experience within the Energy Industry<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Trained and experienced ISO standards lead auditor (9001, 14001 or 45001)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Ability to work as a team member as well as act as a team leader<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Have wide experience with SURF (Subsea umblicals, risers &amp; flowlines)fabrication &amp; installation operations, including on and offshore marine operations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Maintain key competencies such as Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training (BOSIET), H2S Training, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Computer literate in Microsoft programs:\u202fWord, Access, PowerPoint, Excel,
