We add huge value to our clients through our integrated approach, whilst relentlessly focus on excellence and our passion for improving society.<\/p>\n<p>Mott MacDonald is seeking a talented<strong>\u00a0Project Controls Manager<\/strong>\u00a0to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering purpose-driven PMO and Controls services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and built environment projects \u2014 including major global programmes. If you&#8217;re passionate about driving performance, shaping strategy, and making a real impact, we want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will contribute to the team;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical skills to prepare and critically evaluate performance measures (inc. earned value) and trends across multiple datasets<\/li>\n<li>Ability to focus on key issues, and drive out mitigating or recovery actions across the project<\/li>\n<li>Good people management and task facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience of implementing robust project controls processes and toolsets in relevant industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required for the position of Project Controls Manager;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to the nature of this role, offers may be conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of security clearance<\/li>\n<li>A background working on large scale infrastructure projects in sectors including, but not limited to water, transport, nuclear, defence<\/li>\n<li>Educated to degree level and\/or hold a project controls or management qualification (e.g. APMG Planning and Controls, EVM, PMQ, Prince2)<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to travel and work in different sectors and clients<\/li>\n<li>Risk management and reporting including the use of ARM<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) or Microsoft Project and\/or other planning and resourcing software;<\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Reduce uncertainty on projects by adapting project methodology;<\/li>\n<li>Project reporting including monitoring of KPIs;<\/li>\n<li>Undertake project reviews;<\/li>\n<li>Able to coordinate and work with other teams and have basic multi-disciplinary knowledge;<br \/>\nComfortable working as a consultant within a client environment;<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred but not required;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support project managers in maintaining effective and timely change management processes<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and consolidate project plans<\/li>\n<li>PMO experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge or and experience using PowerBI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are actively recruiting a diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities we serve.
