Join AECOM\u2019s Architecture team in Manchester or London and contribute to the delivery of complex, high-quality design projects across a range of sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect with a strong background in technical detailing and digital delivery. REVIT will be your primary daily tool, and a REVIT assessment will form part of the application process.<\/p>\n<p>You will play a key role in producing and coordinating detailed design information, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and excellence in delivery. Initially focused within the Justice Sector covering MoJ, Courts and Home Office projects, working both directly to the client on feasibility and Stage 2 proposals with retention as Technical Assessor monitoring compliance and progress on site as well as also working as part of contractors multidiscipline design teams on other projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily production and coordination of models and drawings in REVIT<\/li>\n<li>Preparing, reviewing and approving drawings<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with design and drafting teams across disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Delivering design packages of moderate to high complexity (with appropriate supervision)<\/li>\n<li>Producing detailed drawings in line with project specifications and established standards<\/li>\n<li>Preparing specifications, reports and supporting data tables<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking material take-offs, measurements and area calculations directly from REVIT model. Performing basic architectural calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and interpreting vendor, subcontractor and 3rd party designers documentation<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, permits and discipline-specific standards<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge or experience in using CDE platforms for document control and coordination<\/li>\n<li>Marking up drawings using Adobe PDF and working confidently within Microsoft Office applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in spacial design and technical detailing within architecture<\/li>\n<li>Advanced REVIT capability (essential)<\/li>\n<li>AutoCAD knowledge (essential)<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction documentation and design standards<\/li>\n<li>Confident interpreting technical specifications and instructions<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs)<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong coordination skills<\/li>\n<li>British National due to clients security requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Manchester based<\/strong>\u00a0with as a minimum a mandatory day working in the office on a Wednesday and further days to be agreed with flexible hybrid working opportunities on non-mandatory day. Expected to be accommodating 2-3 non-working at home days each week.<\/p>\n<p>Placements in our Warrington (Manchester location only) may be required, subject to project demands and discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>London based<\/strong>\u00a0with as a minimum a mandatory day working in the office and further days to be agreed with flexible hybrid working opportunities on non-mandatory day.
