We operate in Highways, Rail, Aviation and Maritime. Our vision is to deliver major transportation projects as part of a global business and to establish our wide-ranging consultancy as \u2018credible\u2019 and \u2018preferred\u2019 for our existing and new clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for commercially managing a project or multiple projects, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Support and advise the project manager in respect of fulfilment of all contractual obligations<\/li>\n<li>Driving and delivering tender process<\/li>\n<li>Input into the development and delivery of procurement strategies o Post contract management of NEC and bespoke contracts<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and process on behalf of the client commercial queries from consultants and contractors<\/li>\n<li>Reporting of budgets \/ tracking costs and ensuring financial accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with Project teams<\/li>\n<li>CEMAR administration<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring of junior members of team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant degree or relevant extensive experience in experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy\/Main Contractor<\/li>\n<li>Full Membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) (or working towards)<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of administrating a wide range of contracts, particularly NEC contracts and experience in using CEMAR (Contract Event Management and Reporting) or similar<\/li>\n<li>Contract and procurement advice, cost analysis, due diligence, cost control, cost reporting activities and post contract management on projects, programmes and D &amp; B contracts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate both autonomously and as a part of a larger team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent IT Skills \u2013 Word\/Excel\/PowerPoint\/Office365<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills including writing reports and presenting<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues and the supply chain<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel to client site 2 or 3 days per week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant experience working on transportation projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview of the role As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects and workstreams on major aviation projects.
