In this role, you will oversee and manage global quality processes across the R&amp;D function, ensuring adherence to unified quality protocols and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of R&amp;D quality in the energy industry, contributing to Hitachi Energy\u2019s vision of delivering smarter and more sustainable energy solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How you will make an impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement the R&amp;D Quality Improvement Plan, aligning with global and business unit strategies to drive quality excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate the Voice of the Customer into R&amp;D practices, ensuring products meet customer needs and enhance satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure R&amp;D products and processes comply with local, regional, and international quality regulatory standards and customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain the R&amp;D Quality Management System, fostering continuous improvement and business sustainability.<\/li>\n<li>Embed quality assurance methodologies like Design FMEA and Process FMEA into R&amp;D processes to prevent defects and ensure compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the resolution of quality issues within R&amp;D, fostering cross-functional collaboration and sustainable solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement by embedding Lean Six Sigma principles into R&amp;D practices and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Measure and analyze R&amp;D quality performance, using data-driven insights to implement improvements and achieve strategic goals.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and enhance R&amp;D team competencies through targeted training programs, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in implementing quality methodologies in R&amp;D, such as FMEA, Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance standards relevant to R&amp;D.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of utilizing data analysis to drive quality improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with hands-on experience in application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The opportunity Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Research and Development Quality Manager for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team.
