Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

To provide senior commercial and contract management support to the\u00a0HS2 Track DJV<\/strong>, acting on behalf of the\u00a0Consultant under NEC4.<\/strong> The role ensures robust\u00a0cost assurance, change control, and NEC compliance<\/strong>\u00a0across professional services delivery, safeguarding client value and supporting successful programme outcomes.<\/p>\n

This role will be based out of our London<\/strong> office.<\/p>\n

About the Role<\/strong><\/div>\n

NEC4 Contract Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Administer NEC4 in line with\u00a0HS2 commercial procedures and governance<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Manage:\n
      \n
    • Compensation Events (CEs)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 preparation, assessment, negotiation, agreement<\/li>\n
    • NCE\/Early warning process and risk reduction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Ensure compliance with\u00a0time-barring, notification, and acceptance procedures<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Support the\u00a0Project Manager \/ Commercial Lead function under NEC contract<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Change & Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Lead evaluation of\u00a0scope changes and CE submissions<\/strong>\u00a0from the DJV<\/li>\n
      • Provide robust\u00a0cost and programme impact analysis<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Maintain and update\u00a0commercial risk registers<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Stakeholder Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Act as a key interface between:\n
            \n
          • HS2 project team \/ Client functions<\/li>\n
          • HS2 Track DJV (Egis and JV interfaces)<\/li>\n
          • Internal Egis project teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Provide\u00a0clear commercial advice to senior stakeholders<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Support engagement across\u00a0multi-disciplinary rail delivery environment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Reporting & Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Produce and maintain:\n
                \n
              • Weekly \/ Monthly cost reports<\/strong><\/li>\n
              • CE registers and trackers<\/li>\n
              • Financial dashboards for leadership review<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Ensure compliance with:\n
                  \n
                • HS2Track DJV commercial standards<\/strong><\/li>\n
                • Egis internal governance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Maintain\u00a0full audit trail<\/strong>\u00a0of commercial decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management<\/li>\n
                    • Extensive experience in\u00a0major infrastructure \/ rail<\/strong><\/li>\n
                    • Strong working knowledge of\u00a0NEC4\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0(essential)<\/li>\n
                    • Proven track record in:\n
                        \n
                      • Cost management of\u00a0NEC4<\/strong><\/li>\n
                      • Compensation Event assessment<\/li>\n
                      • Commercial assurance on client\/consultancy side<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        • HS2 project experience or familiarity with\u00a0HS2 governance frameworks<\/strong><\/li>\n
                        • Experience with\u00a0Track systems, rail engineering, or multidisciplinary design JV environment<\/strong><\/li>\n
