About Egis in Ireland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Egis has operated in Ireland since 1959 and is one of the largest multi-disciplinary consultancy, engineering and operations firms in the country. Our services in Ireland span the full lifespan of infrastructure, from upstream feasibility studies through design, construction supervision, delivery and operations. Operating across the entire value chain of consulting, design and operation, Egis is the only group to understand infrastructure in its entirety. Our current activities in Ireland include operating the Dublin Tunnel and the Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork, overseeing 1200km of Ireland\u2019s motorways and working on the design and delivery of major transport projects and mobility services.<\/p>\n

With over 600 staff in Ireland across 16 offices nationwide, we are committed to enabling sustainable economic development and responding to the requirements of population growth while addressing climate change and reducing carbon emissions. In 2023 Egis acquired JB Barry & Partners, an engineering firm which has worked on major projects such as the Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant in Dublin and the N17\/N18 Gort to Tuam PPP motorway scheme in Galway. The Egis engineering division is now almost 200 people strong across four offices in Dublin, Castlebar, Cork and Limerick.<\/p>\n

About the Role<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Lead the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, and key stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration and performance.<\/li>\n
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of specialist sub-consultants.<\/li>\n
  • Provide direction on scheme development and delivery strategies.<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Monitor project performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    What do we need from you<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent recognised professional body.<\/li>\n
    • NEC4 accreditation<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in major civil engineering, rail (desirable) or transport infrastructure.<\/li>\n
    • Experience in the management of NEC forms of contract<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated ability in client and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering high levels of satisfaction and building long-term relationships.<\/li>\n
    • Strong technical understanding of road design, traffic management, public transport, and\/or active travel.<\/li>\n
