The candidate is expected to expand our current energy sector activities in Ireland, develop client relationships (identifying opportunities to satisfy their needs) and expand our presence in the marketplace, using the best of our local and global expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Working closely with European and global colleagues this role will identify, prioritize and pursue addressable market opportunities in High Voltage Electricity Networks, including system studies, network upgrades, export and demand grid connections, system resilience, energy storage, and interconnection projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">The role will ideally be based in our Dublin office. We expect all leaders to be office-based for minimum three days per week to support growth of a cohesive, strong, effective, and well-mentored teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">As a\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">High Voltage T&amp;D Leader\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">at Arup, you will:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Strategic business planning: identification of addressable growth markets, market differentiation, growth and investment planning, to deliver agreed commercial outcomes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Client relationship development: maximizing existing relationships, identifying and engaging new high value clients, both nationally and internationally.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Cultivate existing and new relationships with clients and partners.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Exercise industry contacts and professional networks to expand existing service offering and revenue, including acquisition and exercising of framework positions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Utilise our marketing function to enhance our profile, reputation, credibility and presence within target markets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Lead and contribute to the development of a convertible pursuit pipeline through a combination of contemporary market intelligence, industry trends, market conditions, competitive landscape and horizon scanning, and client feedback<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Drive proactive, well-orchestrated pursuit of priority targets, and high quality bids that fully demonstrate our value to clients<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Win new and repeat work through relationship-building and pre-bid engagement, and deliver projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Mature and strong industry networks and reputation in Ireland.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">A broad background and experience would be valued, including previous consultancy, utility, developer, investor, government, regulator, OEM and\/or contractor roles with a clear recognition how this experience pays into this professional consultancy services role.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">15+ years of industry experience in the energy sector with the most recent 5 years being immersed in the T&amp;D market with strong industry links and personal market profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">A solid track record securing revenue from public and private sector clients such as utilities, developers, government and corporate clients.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Regular participation in industry panels, speaking at professional conferences as well as encouraging and enabling colleagues across the grade structure to do the same, raising our profile and uncovering opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">A collaborative, sharing and generous nature, recognizing that the role is about catalyzing a broad team to achieve success, therefore finding reward in enabling and enhancing success of the overall team is critical.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Extensive proficiency in delivery of advisory or engineering services to energy clients, well versed in acquisition and delivery of consultancy services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Experience in the preparation and overseeing of financial targets, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to meet revenue, cashflow and profit targets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit;
