The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work both independently and under guidance, with a proven history of producing engaging, visually compelling, and technically robust results on schedule.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Senior Town Planning Consultant at Arup, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Development: Collaborate with the Cities, Planning and Design leadership to devise and implement a growth strategy for planning in Ireland, driving revenue, expanding the project portfolio, and enhancing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Project Delivery: Oversee planning phases and support project direction across all business sectors, maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and ensuring alignment with client objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management: Assist with managing commissions, resources, and budgets, and coordinate inputs from multiple disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Client Engagement: Foster relationships with public and private sector clients, respond to project briefs, and help craft persuasive proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Expertise: Use your comprehensive knowledge of planning policy and legislation to influence deliverables and advise clients effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Team Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, designers, environmental scientists, and interdisciplinary teams to produce high-quality, collaborative results.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and support the professional development of graduate and junior staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or higher) in planning, geography, transport, urban design, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Ideally over 10 years of pertinent town planning experience within Ireland, including preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, submissions, strategic infrastructure development, maritime area planning, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Advantageous: Experience preparing for and attending oral hearings<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Membership of the Irish Planning Institute and\/or Royal Town Planning Institute<\/li>\n<li>Strong project management background, including overseeing small to mid-sized projects or specific workstreams<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, especially in report writing and developing client-facing materials<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership capability to deliver a vision and plan for growth of the planning discipline, inspiring followership from the team and a strong focus on skills development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Opportunity We are seeking a diverse and experienced individual who can demonstrate a high level of technical skill and experience in spatial planning and land use management, town planning&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_rate_min":"","_rate_max":"","_company_name":"ARUP","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[576],"job-types":[167,160],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-18765","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_category-construction","job_listing_type-permanent-job","job_listing_type-kontrakt-en","work-model-hybrid-work","job-level-senior-en","job-type-contract-of-employment","job-type-contract"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
