The role will involve modelling and carrying out a variety of power system studies for major clients worldwide. Our team is based across the UK, with offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Reading, Cardiff, and Bristol.<\/p>\n<p>This role forms part of a wider growth strategy to position Jacobs to meet the evolving requirements of the energy transition. As part of the team, you will lead and deliver a range of services across study projects, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Power system modelling and model verification.<\/li>\n<li>Feasibility studies, including load flow and fault level assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Determining equipment performance specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Grid Code compliance studies.<\/li>\n<li>Interconnection and impact studies.<\/li>\n<li>Producing clear and concise technical reports.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing technical input and level-of-effort estimates to proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering study activities, including technical support for proposals, modelling, simulations, results analysis, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating closely with colleagues in the UK and globally on studies relating to transmission, distribution, renewables, and industrial systems.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting projects integrating low-carbon technologies into the network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"article__content__view__field__label\"><strong>Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"article__content__view__field__value\">\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a recognised professional institution \/organisation &#8211;
