Join us and make a difference.<\/p>\n<p>Some of your responsibilities will include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will advise on all aspects of hydrogeology and work across UK, Ireland and International projects<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert advice on hydrogeological conceptualisation<\/li>\n<li>Assist with delivery of both water resources and engineering hydrogeology projects<\/li>\n<li>Prepare bids internally and externally to support growth<\/li>\n<li>Mentor junior staff on their career development<\/li>\n<li>Develop new innovations around data and interacting with our groundwater modellers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Being part of the team;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The AECOM Water Environment team&#8217;s portfolio of clients comes from both public and private sectors, spread around UK, Ireland and EMEA Region.<\/li>\n<li>The groundwater team supports colleagues in surface water, aquatic ecology and hydromorphology to better conceptualise their sites.<\/li>\n<li>We work on large scale infrastructure projects, including all stages of consenting from Optioneering, through Environmental Statements, through to Delivery Consents<\/li>\n<li>We have clients requiring new groundwater resources and refurbishment of existing sources, to ensure their supplies. These include Water Companies, Bottled Water Suppliers (including some major brands) and small private operators.<\/li>\n<li>We support mining colleagues with their water management issues, as well as helping their moves to better sustainable practices.<\/li>\n<li>We are involved in the energy transition, through our work of ground source heat schemes and geothermal projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what we will need from you;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc Hons degree in either Geology and\/or Geography<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in groundwater and the water environment industry<\/li>\n<li>A relevant MSc in a practical environment related subject<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a relevant professional body, with an aim of becoming chartered in the future<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have opportunities for experienced hydrogeologists and groundwater experts at senior\/principal levels to support activities in the UK across our offices.
