Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
    \n
  • Lead the civil engineering scope for Waste-to-X projects within a civil consortium or EPC civil works package.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate civil design interfaces with consortium partners, subcontractors, internal engineering teams, clients, and authorities.<\/li>\n
  • Manage design activities during procurement and execution phases for civil, structural, geotechnical, architectural, and infrastructure packages.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between civil engineering disciplines and project stakeholders throughout design and construction.<\/li>\n
  • Support preparation of civil procurement packages, including technical and commercial contract requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in contractor negotiations and respond to technical queries during procurement and project execution.<\/li>\n
  • Report project progress to project management and operations teams while supporting claim management activities.<\/li>\n
  • Travel up to 10% as required for project coordination and execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC, construction, or large industrial projects as a Design Engineer.<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience delivering projects in the German market, with a strong understanding of local regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards.<\/li>\n
    • Established professional network and local market knowledge in Germany are highly desirable.<\/li>\n
    • Proven project management capabilities; PM certifications are an advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of international civil engineering design and construction codes and standards.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with structural design software and 3D BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n
    • Assertive and decisive personality with experience working in remote and multicultural teams.<\/li>\n
    • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
