We\u2019re also active in naval infrastructure and shipbuilding, and in procurement and operational delivery across the whole of the UK Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n<p>Due to continued growth are currently seeking Principal CS&amp;A Engineers to join our team, these positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK &#8211; <strong>Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>As a Principal Civil\/Structural Engineesr<\/b><b>\u00a0your responsibilities could include:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading a team of CS&amp;A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Key role holder within the Engineering team on the project.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of the civil, structural, and architectural design.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the commercial implications of products, scope and packages<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of substantiation and other approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Risk identification with proposed resolution \/ mitigation.<\/li>\n<li>Production of Schedule and identification of key milestones.<\/li>\n<li>Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, BIM etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Here\u2019s What You\u2019ll Need:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) subject- MEng (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate (Engineering or Scientific) Institution Membership- Chartered Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles where professional judgement is the key attribute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for Principal Civil\/Structural Engineers\u00a0 At Amentum, we&#8217;re not just solving problems; we&#8217;re engineering the future.
