We\u2019re also active in naval infrastructure and shipbuilding, and in procurement and operational delivery across the whole of the UK Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n<p>Due to continued growth are currently seeking Civil Structural &amp; Architectural Engineers to join our team, these positions support hybrid working and can be based across our office network within the UK &#8211; Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a CS&amp;A Engineer your responsibilities could include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical quality and excellence of your work and the work of those working under you to ensure engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality<\/li>\n<li>Project planning, delivery and financial performance of your work and that of junior staff<\/li>\n<li>Communication with clients and other design team members to provide technical input and justification<\/li>\n<li>Technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior designers<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the development and delivery of design documents and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Chair and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings including progress meetings and design reviews<\/li>\n<li>Independent and autonomous work during the delivery of complex engineering activities<\/li>\n<li>Be fully conversant with business and quality management systems and actively encourage compliance within team.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate &amp; supervise surveys (condition, measurement etc) &amp; assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s What You\u2019ll Need as<\/strong> <strong>Civil Structural &amp; Architectural Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified in Civil\/Structural engineering or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge and understanding<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a civil and structural design role having direct influence over design practices and outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to Lead projects of varying size and complexity, managing technical aspects as well as quality, budget, programme and resources<\/li>\n<li>Expert in the use of the latest version of AutoCAD, Revit and associated software, with the ability to work unsupervised<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of British Standards and CDM regs<\/li>\n<li>Experience in detailing of reinforced concrete and structural steelwork<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as a team member liaising directly with clients and other cross discipline design team members<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of applicable codes and safety legislation and how they should be applied<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication, and report writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for Civil Structural &amp; Architectural Engineer About the Opportunity Amentum delivers innovative and sustainable solutions for complex environmental challenges and energy needs.
