In this role, you\u2019ll be delivering elegant and efficient mechanical design solutions on exciting and challenging projects for key clients.<\/p>\n<p>We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of people\u2019s lives. Whether new homes, shops, workplaces, schools and hospitals, manufacturing, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centres. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be responsible for leading the mechanical design on larger projects, working collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution. You will need to present complex technical solutions to clients.<\/p>\n<p>As a Principal Engineer, you will manage project teams with up to 10 people, providing technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development. You will manage the performance of team members and sub-contractors, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. You pride yourself for the part you play in transforming the world around you and understand the importance of teamwork.
