{"id":20128,"date":"2026-07-10T13:10:47","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T11:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/associate-electrical-director-data-centres\/"},"modified":"2026-07-10T13:10:47","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T11:10:47","slug":"aecom-associate-electrical-director-data-centres-bristol-wielka-brytania","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/aecom-associate-electrical-director-data-centres-bristol-wielka-brytania\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate Electrical Director: Data Centres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Working in our Data Centres Market Sector, you will be an ambassador in the data centre community externally across EMEA and internally within AECOM Europe and globally.<\/p>\n<p>With experience in technical delivery of data centre projects for tech firms and a strong track record in tech firm business development you will lead a team of technical experts across the UK and work closely with our global colleagues in the Data Centre sector.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the continued successful growth and expansion of our <strong>Technology \/ Data Centre Sector<\/strong>, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Associate Director to join us!<\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for driving the technical excellence, quality, and mentoring teams while shaping strategy, winning work, and delivering resilient, efficient, and low\u2011carbon outcomes for our clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own electrical design across feasibility, concept, scheme, and detailed design, through procurement support, construction, commissioning, and handover.<\/li>\n<li>Define and validate power architectures (utility intake, MV\/LV distribution, UPS topologies, generators, switchgear, PDUs, STS, busway, earthing, and lighting).<\/li>\n<li>Lead power systems studies and protection design (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc\u2011flash, harmonic analysis) using tools such as ETAP\/SKM.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate monitoring and controls (BMS\/EPMS\/SCADA), metering strategies, and resilience features aligned to availability objectives (e.g., Tier II\u2013IV).<\/li>\n<li>Embed decarbonization and energy efficiency (high\u2011efficiency UPS, advanced controls, heat recovery, demand response, on\u2011site renewables, and grid-interactive strategies).<\/li>\n<li>Assure compliance with applicable standards and codes (e.g., IEC\/BS\/EN and\/or NEC\/NFPA), client specifications, and AECOM quality procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate multi\u2011disciplinary interfaces (mechanical, structural, architectural, fire\/life safety, security, ICT) to deliver fully integrated designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ready to push the limits of what\u2019s possible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hyperscale and\/or multi\u2011site program experience, including fast\u2011track and design\u2011build environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong career background in the delivery of Electrical project work across Data Centres and Mission Critical Environments.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of leading DC project work streams in UK &amp; preferably across EMEA.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable client facing and work winning experience.<\/li>\n<li>Able to demonstrate excellent team leadership and development capability.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed Knowledge of Mechanical design, engineering practices, techniques and procedures for Data Centres and how it ultimately interfaces with the client.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing project financials.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate internally and externally through excellent written and verbal skills<\/li>\n<li>A good financial understanding of projects and the requirements needed to ensure the success of a Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Working in our Data Centres Market Sector, you will be an ambassador in the data centre community externally across EMEA and internally within AECOM Europe and globally.
