You\u2019ll work in a collaborative, high-performing environment that prioritises wellbeing, flexibility, and professional growth.<\/p>\n<p>Our team supports a broad range of sectors \u2014 including industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, land development, ports, road, and rail \u2014 delivering services such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desk studies<\/li>\n<li>Site investigation<\/li>\n<li>Risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Remediation strategy, design, implementation, and validation<\/li>\n<li>Environmental monitoring and close-out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have a pipeline of exciting large infrastructure projects alongside our longstanding projects. This role provides an excellent platform to develop technical and commercial skills, take ownership of projects, and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>This role can be based from our offices in\u00a0<strong>Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester<\/strong>\u00a0with an option for hybrid working.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver Phase 1 environmental assessments, ground investigations, and routine monitoring tasks;<\/li>\n<li>Work independently to ensure technical quality, budget control, and programme adherence;<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation of fee proposals for internal and external clients;<\/li>\n<li>Manage projects from desk study and feasibility, through to delivery of site investigations and data interpretation, to remediation design and delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career with a globally respected consultancy. Build a better world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ready to push the limits of what\u2019s possible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ideally, a minimum of an undergraduate degree in an environmental, science, or engineering-based subject<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Knowledge and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management<\/li>\n<li>Development of conceptual site models<\/li>\n<li>Qualitative risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Field Experience.<\/strong>\u00a0Hands-on experience with field investigation, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Site management<\/li>\n<li>Drilling supervision<\/li>\n<li>Collection of groundwater and ground gas samples<\/li>\n<li>Supervision of remediation activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full driving licence<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel within the UK and work away from home for periods of time<\/li>\n<li>CSCS card holder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AECOM is offering an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Soil, Groundwater and Remediation Team .
