The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll take the lead on all Mechanical Quality Control activities on site. In simple terms: making sure what\u2019s installed is what was designed \u2014 and that it works.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More specifically, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee mechanical installation quality across HVAC, piping, process systems, and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Carry out inspections at each stage: pre\u2011install, in\u2011progress, and final sign\u2011off<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with trades, supervisors, and package leads to keep quality issues small and solvable<\/li>\n<li>Manage RFIs, punch lists, and QC documentation without creating unnecessary admin<\/li>\n<li>Support commissioning teams through testing and handover<\/li>\n<li>Identify issues early, resolve them quickly, and maintain momentum on site<\/li>\n<li>Act as the main point of contact for mechanical quality queries from clients and internal teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you need<\/strong> If you\u2019ve led Mechanical QC or Mechanical Engineering activities on large industrial, pharma, semiconductor, or data centre projects, you\u2019ll fit right in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideally, you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in Mechanical QC on major construction projects<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of QA\/QC processes, inspection requirements, and EU construction standards<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting commissioning and handover activities<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work with (and influence) trades, PMs, supervisors, and client reps<\/li>\n<li>A calm and structured approach in a high\u2011pace environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why consider it<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A flagship European data centre project<\/li>\n<li>Full end\u2011to\u2011end M&amp;E delivery<\/li>\n<li>Strong long\u2011term career progression<\/li>\n<li>Real influence on quality performance and project outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Kirby Group Engineering Kirby Group Engineering is an international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor and leading provider of high-value engineering services to a number of \u2018blue chip\u2019 companies.
