The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Planning Manager Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading and continuing to develop the Group Planning Department<\/li>\n<li>Lead Support in the implementation and change management of internal operational processes \u2013 \u201cThe Kirby Way\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Develop a CBS for the Kirby Way by 30th Nov 2018<\/li>\n<li>Report monthly to Group Operations Director on status of \u201cThe Kirby Way\u201d implementation<\/li>\n<li>Perform monthly project risk review\u2019s and assess projects overall performance with the PM\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Develop solutions and make recommendations to Ops Managers &amp; PM\u2019s to mitigate project risk<\/li>\n<li>Help Implement corrective action to mitigate risk<\/li>\n<li>Work with Ops Managers to monitor closely high-risk projects with a view to mitigating \/ managing risk items<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting where there is project risk and opportunity for Kirby<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations to Directors, BUL\u2019s &amp; Ops Managers if intervention is required<\/li>\n<li>To provide internal consulting &amp; support in the stabilisation of distressed projects<\/li>\n<li>Assess new major projects with Op Managers and identify internal \/ external risks (&amp; opportunity) rank project<\/li>\n<li>Work with Operations &amp; Commercial to accurately forecast and predict project outcome<\/li>\n<li>Collation of Operations Managers monthly BU Reports for consolidation, review risk and opportunity<\/li>\n<li>Work with PM\u2019s &amp; FM\u2019s to Co-ordinate the better integration of (and between) Support Services into projects<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant HOM\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Attend relevant Project Commercial Review Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Support in new PM mentoring and monitoring during their first project<\/li>\n<li>You will proactively and\u00a0vigilantly keep information secure and fully comply with the Kirby Information Security Management System (ISMS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Permanent position available with a considerable portfolio of works for the next 5+ years To build your career by assisting in the delivery of \u2018leading edge\u2019 engineering projects.
