The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Your New Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to significant growth across our data centre portfolio in Europe, Kirby is expanding its\u00a0<strong>CSA Engineering team<\/strong>. We are recruiting an additional\u00a0<strong>CSA Engineer<\/strong>\u00a0to support the delivery of large\u2011scale hyperscale data centre projects from design coordination through construction, commissioning and handover.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a CSA Engineer seeking high\u2011impact experience across civil, structural and architectural packages within fast\u2011paced, technically complex data centre environments.<\/p>\n<p>You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team including MEP engineering, QA\/QC, commissioning, planning, BIM, project management and commercial functions.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be supported by senior colleagues and integrated into an experienced, high\u2011performing delivery team<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Need to Succeed<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\u2011level qualification (BSc or higher) in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering, or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u2019 post\u2011graduate experience in CSA engineering, preferably on large construction or data centre projects<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to undertake site\u2011based work in Ireland, the UK or Europe<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction drawings, site coordination and installation standards<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractor interfaces<\/li>\n<li>Kirby supports hybrid working where possible, though project roles typically require site presence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will support the CSA Engineering team with the following activities:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Coordination &amp; Pre\u2011Construction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review civil, structural and architectural design packages for compliance with project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate design information between CSA, MEP, BIM and external designers<\/li>\n<li>Raise and track RFIs, design queries and technical clarifications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure CSA design interfaces with MEP, fire stopping, building envelope and underground services<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design coordination workshops, model reviews and clash detection sessions<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of buildability reviews and sequencing plans<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the design meets safety, quality and client standards from concept to IFC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Construction Phase Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee day\u2011to\u2011day site activities relating to CSA works, ensuring alignment with the design and programme<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with structural steel, concrete, architectural and fa\u00e7ade subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Monitor progress, installation quality, material compliance and workmanship<\/li>\n<li>Carry out regular site inspections, supporting QA\/QC teams in verifying compliance<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with MEP teams to ensure smooth interfaces between CSA and mechanical\/electrical installation<\/li>\n<li>Support Temporary Works Coordinator with reviews, approvals and checks<\/li>\n<li>Track changes, variations and potential risks; escalate where required<\/li>\n<li>Assist in resolving site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quality, Testing &amp; Handover<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all CSA works are delivered in accordance with specifications, industry standards and client requirements<\/li>\n<li>Support commissioning and pre\u2011handover readiness for CSA\u2011related systems<\/li>\n<li>Review as\u2011built drawings, O&amp;M documentation and certification from subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Verify that redlines, quality records and test packs are complete prior to handover<\/li>\n<li>Support close\u2011out of snags, defects and quality observations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Post\u2011Construction \/ Completion<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and approve as\u2011built documentation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate updates to H&amp;S files and project handover packages<\/li>\n<li>Participate in lessons\u2011learned workshops for continuous improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Permanent position available with a considerable portfolio of works for the next 5+ years To build your career by assisting in the delivery of \u2018leading edge\u2019 engineering projects.
