It\u2019s the whole job.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you\u2019re the kind of EHS professional who knows the difference between ticking boxes and actually making a site safer, keep reading.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re delivering a major data centre project in Milan and we need an ASPP who\u2019s comfortable operating where the stakes are high: tight deadlines, multiple contractors, heavy coordination, and a client who expects world\u2011class standards from day one.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t a desk\u2011only role. It\u2019s not a \u201csend a few emails and hope everything sorts itself out\u201d role either. It\u2019s a job for someone who likes being on the ground, in the detail, and ahead of problems before they ever become incidents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll actually be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your purpose is simple: make sure the project runs safely, legally, and with a culture people want to buy into\u2014not work around.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be the go\u2011to person for all things Environment, Health &amp; Safety on site\u2014supporting management, supervisors, workers and (when needed) subcontractors and visitors.<\/li>\n<li>Lead by example. Not the \u201cposter on the wall\u201d kind\u2014the one people trust and listen to.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the Kirby management system alive and relevant on site, not buried in a binder.<\/li>\n<li>Audit, inspect and challenge\u2014then help fix what isn\u2019t working.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure training needs are identified, delivered and recorded properly.<\/li>\n<li>Keep EHS plans, RAMS and all statutory documentation up to date and compliant.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate incidents thoroughly and help prevent them from ever happening again.<\/li>\n<li>Verify subcontractor documentation and prepare project\u2011specific EHS plans alongside site management.<\/li>\n<li>Support HR and the RSPP with appointments, health surveillance, PPE management and mandatory training.<\/li>\n<li>Attend coordination meetings, issue non\u2011conformances when needed, and make sure everyone on site understands both their obligations and the standards expected.<\/li>\n<li>And yes, you\u2019ll also help keep our compliance admin sharp, structured and always audit\u2011ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a role for someone who can influence, not just inform. Someone who sees EHS as an enabler of good work\u2014not an obstacle to it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A recognised ASPP qualification (Prevention and Protection Service Officer).<\/li>\n<li>Italian fluency and strong English\u2014enough to keep up in a multinational project environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally a Level 3 (or equivalent) occupational health &amp; safety qualification\u2014but if you\u2019ve got the experience, we\u2019re open.<\/li>\n<li>A steady hand, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to speak up when something\u2019s off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Permanent position available with a considerable portfolio of works for the next 5+ years To build your career by assisting in the delivery of \u2018leading edge\u2019 engineering projects.
