It\u2019s fast\u2011paced, highly technical and full of the sort of moving parts where strong commissioning leadership makes or breaks the job. That\u2019s why we\u2019re looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Lead who knows how to bring systems online properly, manage multiple specialists, and keep both the quality and the momentum exactly where they need to be.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be the person who makes sure the commissioning doesn\u2019t just happen \u2014 it happens in the right sequence, with the right documentation, and to the standard the client expects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>That includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing IFC drawings, specs and technical submittals<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with the PM and QS on any commissioning\u2011related cost impacts<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development<\/li>\n<li>Developing and implementing the commissioning plan<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating commissioning with planners, package engineers and vendors<\/li>\n<li>Attending client commissioning meetings and ensuring alignment<\/li>\n<li>Getting all descriptions of operations and setpoints approved<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring checklists, scripts, and documentation meet client standards<\/li>\n<li>Managing specialist vendors and ensuring their activities align with programme<\/li>\n<li>Verifying and witnessing commissioning activities<\/li>\n<li>Running and updating commissioning trackers, logs and weekly progress reports<\/li>\n<li>Leading walkdowns, tag walks and system sign\u2011off<\/li>\n<li>Managing snag lists and ensuring issues are closed out quickly<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring client training is completed on schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Permanent position available with a considerable portfolio of works for the next 5+ years To build your career by assisting in the delivery of \u2018leading edge\u2019 engineering projects.
