You work closely with supervisors, engineers, and crew to carry out installation, maintenance, and monitoring taska according to project requirements and procedures. The role includes both operational work and support in maintaining equipment prrformance and documentation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your\u202fresponsibility\u202fwill\u202fbe to:\u202f<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate\u202fand monitor\u202fcable\u202flay\u202fequipment\u202fsuch\u202fas tensioners and\u202fcarousels<\/li>\n<li>Support\u202fcable\u202floading,\u202fspooling, and\u202fsubsea\u202fdeployment\u202factivities<\/li>\n<li>Perform basic maintenance and repairs of equipment<\/li>\n<li>Follow\u202foffshore\u202fsafety\u202fprocedures\u202fand\u202fparticipate\u202fin risk\u202fassessments<\/li>\n<li>Maintain\u202frecords\u202fof\u202fcable\u202flaying\u202fprogress and\u202foperational\u202fdata<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This\u202frole\u202fis offshore\u202fbased\u202fon\u202frotation periods at\u202fsea.\u202fYou\u202freport\u202fto the\u202fLay\u202f Technician\u202fSupervisor and\u202fcollaborate\u202fwith\u202fmultidisciplinary\u202foffshore teams.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced offshore technician with practical approach<\/p>\n<p>You are a practical, steady person who works carefully in operational settings involving heavy equipment. You\u202fcollaborate\u202fwell\u202fwith\u202fcolleagues\u202fonboard\u202fand\u202fcommunicate\u202fclearly\u202fduring\u202ftasks.\u202fYou remain focused and contribute to safe and efficient daily operations, while supporting coordinated teamwork offshore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u202falso\u202fhave:\u202f<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferably a Technical\u202fdiploma\u202for\u202fvocational\u202ftraining\u202fin\u202fEngineering\u202for Marine\u202fTechnology<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5\u202fyears\u202fof\u202foffshore\u202fexperience\u202fin\u202fcable\u202flaying\u202foperations<\/li>\n<li>Experience\u202fwith\u202fcable\u202fhandling systems\u202fsuch\u202fas tensioners and\u202fcarousels<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge\u202fof\u202fROV operations,\u202fcable\u202fburial, and\u202fdeck\u202foperations<\/li>\n<li>Experience\u202fwith\u202frisk\u202fassessments\u202fand\u202fpermit\u202fto\u202fwork\u202fsystems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a Lay Technician, you assist in managing daily offshore cable installation activities and ensure safe operation of cable lay and deck equipment.
