We now seek an Electrical Design Engineer<\/strong> to be based out of one of our German offices (Frankfurt or Dusseldorf).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Role Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
    \n
  • Responsible for the running of small projects.\u00a0\u00a0Researches, develops,\u00a0designs\u00a0and assumes responsibility for coordination and monitoring of engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Surveys tests and reports on existing electrical\/mechanical installations<\/li>\n
  • Specifies activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements<\/li>\n
  • Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of specification modifications (word or excel)<\/li>\n
  • Ensure engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for validation of Intermediate & Graduate Engineer input into designs<\/li>\n
  • Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the RED Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA\/QC and Technical Review perspective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Role Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Fluent German speaking and ideally\u00a0fluent (professional working\u00a0proficiency) in English<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Diploma or degree qualified or equivalent experience<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Working towards Chartered\u00a0Eng\u00a0status<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience of specification design\/drawing for at least one building type<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of MS Office apple excel\u00a0etc\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of bs standards\/\u00a0international and German\u00a0regulations\/codes\u00a0desirable<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to\u00a0prioritise\u00a0own workload\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work to deadlines<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Managerial Skills\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
