You will have opportunities to delivery European data centres and mission-critical projects, along with other sector experience including process pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, labs and\/or clean rooms would be desirable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the running of projects.\u00a0 Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.\u00a0\u00a0 (Several building types)<\/li>\n<li>Develops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes<\/li>\n<li>Surveys, tests, carries out dilapidation reports on existing electrical\/mechanical installations<\/li>\n<li>Specifies activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements<\/li>\n<li>Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with and provides advice to client<\/li>\n<li>Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams<\/li>\n<li>Ensures engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards<\/li>\n<li>Leads on the coordination of engineering services<\/li>\n<li>Takes a holistic view in the selection and application of engineering concepts and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Develop the next tier of Engineers with the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ROLE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc\/BEng\u00a0or degree in appropriate engineering discipline or have sufficient equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>MCIBSE plus appropriate experience or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Eng status or working towards it<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience of specification design for several building types<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel etc<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of BS standards\/ Irish Regulations\/Codes<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise own workload<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work to deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Managerial skills<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the RED Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA\/QC and Technical Review perspective<\/li>\n<li>Background in consulting or construction preferred<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy<\/li>\n<li>Act in an ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines of the Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RED offers a variety of benefits, including but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>23 days annual leave rising to 28 days annual leave over 5 years\u2019 service<\/li>\n<li>Holiday purchase and buy back scheme<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid Working<\/li>\n<li>Contributory company pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare Scheme via salary sacrifice (Company funded cover is dependant on level)<\/li>\n<li>Non-contractual bonus awards<\/li>\n<li>Training sponsorship<\/li>\n<li>Charity volunteering leave<\/li>\n<li>Wellness days\/ initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Salary commensurate with experience.<\/li>\n<li>Our people work in friendly teams with a collaborative approach and mentoring support from talented leaders.<\/li>\n<li>We offer a comprehensive benefits package and are an equal opportunities employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We now seek an experienced Senior Engineer to be based in our Dublin office.
