Working closely with framework partners and stakeholders, you&#8217;ll ensure designs are practical, high-quality and deliver the best outcomes while effectively managing risk, cost and programme requirements.<\/div>\n<p><strong>You will<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for the design assessment of projects including the evaluation in terms of value and risk.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and develop the engineering design from feasibility studies through to detailed design with framework partners to ensure projects are maintaining quality control of design outputs in line with SSEN standards,<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all works are carried out safely (on site) through the application of SSE safety family and five golden rules.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Electrical Design (preferred), or a Higher National Certificate (HNC) with substantial relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Solid engineering design expertise, with a strong understanding of design governance and CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and thrive in collaborative team environments.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience engaging successful with external and internal stakeholders including regulatory bodies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>34+ Days Holiday with the option to buy more<\/li>\n<li>21 weeks full pay maternity leave<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced paternity package<\/li>\n<li>Flexible Working options<\/li>\n<li>Free, 24\/7 Employee Counselling and wellbeing support<\/li>\n<li>Market leading pension with contributions starting at 6%<\/li>\n<li>Sharesave scheme<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare &amp;
