This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and service outcomes for construction-related projects and investments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities (What you will do):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead sourcing activities for Facilities and Construction categories across assigned sites in Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Support regional sourcing plans and collaborate with global and regional peers on category priorities and initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop negotiation approaches and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including market analysis, RFQ\/RFP execution, supplier evaluation, contract development, and sourcing execution.<\/li>\n<li>Perform cost analysis to support competitive pricing and strong commercial outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Drive compliance with sourcing processes, policies, and standard ways of working.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and support sourcing execution.<\/li>\n<li>Help develop clear scopes of work and sourcing requirements for assigned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Support supplier development and process improvements to improve cycle time, service levels, and overall sourcing efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Track sourcing performance, savings, and other key metrics for assigned categories and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a sourcing resource to stakeholders and colleagues for category knowledge, sourcing processes, and execution support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications (What you will bring):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited university or college.<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, or project management related to Large Construction Projects.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience in supplier negotiations and commercial contracting within construction or related categories.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RFQ implementation and execution.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of sourcing processes and e-sourcing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Language: Fluent English required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Desired Qualifications (What will make you stand out):<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in construction sourcing, contracting, and\/or project management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Facilities or other indirect categories such as CAPEX, maintenance, or facility services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience negotiating non-standard commercial or legal terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Category management or strategic sourcing experience in a multinational or European environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and deliver results.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Arrangement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid &#8211; 2 office days\/week &#8211; applicable upon Employer and People Leader permission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits Available to You:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GE Vernova employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
