You will also own and develop the Electrical Systems Safety Case, applying a robust claims\u2013arguments\u2013evidence approach to demonstrate compliance with nuclear safety requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with design, analysis, safety case and regulatory teams, you will ensure that electrical systems are fully integrated, compliant and supported by high\u2011quality substantiation throughout the design lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019ll Need You To:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead delivery of systems engineering and safety scope for Electrical Systems<\/li>\n<li>Define and manage requirements, interfaces and system architectures<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain MBSE models and ensure traceability of requirements<\/li>\n<li>Own and develop the Electrical Systems Safety Case (claims, arguments, evidence)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with overarching plant safety case and regulatory expectations<\/li>\n<li>Work with Verification teams to define and implement V&amp;V strategies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure systems meet functional, performance and nuclear safety requirements<\/li>\n<li>Produce and review technical documentation, reports and substantiation outputs<\/li>\n<li>Engage with regulators, independent nuclear safety teams and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Manage suppliers and act as an intelligent customer where required<\/li>\n<li>Lead and develop a team of engineers, setting objectives and supporting capability growth<\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies across your scope<\/li>\n<li>Shape and improve systems engineering processes, tools and methodologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We know there\u2019s no such thing as the \u2018perfect\u2019 candidate. If you meet around 75% of the criteria below, we\u2019d love to hear from you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in systems engineering within complex or highly regulated environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience defining and managing requirements, interfaces and system architectures<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Model\u2011Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing or contributing to safety cases\u00a0(claims\u2013arguments\u2013evidence\u00a0structures)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of nuclear safety principles, standards and regulatory expectations (e.g. ALARP, IEC standards)<\/li>\n<li>Experience across the engineering lifecycle, including verification and validation<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead teams and deliver technical work packages<\/li>\n<li>Experience reviewing and approving technical outputs from engineers and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<li>Experience in industries such as Nuclear, Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive or Oil &amp; Gas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\u2011qualified in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Engineer (or working towards) desirable<\/li>\n<li>Training or experience in systems engineering and\/or nuclear safety case methodologies beneficial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hybrid working with one of the following as your primary site:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Derby, Manchester or Warrington.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary and Package:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The salary band for this role will be between <strong>\u00a360,000 \u2013 \u00a378,750<\/strong> dependent on the skills, values and knowledge you bring.
