We supply a unique portfolio of atmospheric and process gases, equipment, and services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An opportunity exists within the UK Packaged Gases Technology &amp; Marketing Team for a Principal Applications Specialist (Fabrication) who will be responsible for;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivering their own individual Merchant Fabrication business growth and retention targets.<\/li>\n<li>Leading a Regional Merchant Applications Specialists\u2019 Team of 3-4 Application Specialist\u2019s to deliver on regional new business and profit retention targets across the UK &amp; Ireland Merchant Country Cluster.<\/li>\n<li>Building &amp; maintaining effective commercial collaboration between the Application Specialists\u2019 team and the Merchant Commercial team and a positive working environment in the Fabrication segment.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and delivering a Regional Key Customer &amp; Technology Contacts Plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As the Principal Applications Specialist (Fabrication) you will;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a leader: Coach &amp; manage a Regional Fabrication Applications Team to deliver against Regional new business and profit retention targets.<\/li>\n<li>As an individual: Work alongside commercial colleagues to Win NEW Merchant Fabrication Accounts<\/li>\n<li>As an individual: Build loyalty and maximise returns in existing Merchant Fabrication Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Carry-out training courses for colleagues and channel partners (agents)<\/li>\n<li>Assist with marketing &amp; promotional events, attend exhibitions, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with key equipment manufacturers (OEMs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As the Business Development Manager, you already are or have;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performed as an effective team leader.<\/li>\n<li>Highly proficient in craft welding skills particularly in MIG\/MAG, TIG welding and Oxy\/fuel welding &amp; cutting. Approved welding craft apprenticeship with extensive experience in the metal fabrication industry (welding &amp; cutting).<\/li>\n<li>Up to date knowledge of technology in welding\/fabrication sector.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and self-managed with excellent self-discipline, good influencing &amp; negotiating skills and highly developed sales ability.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills and an excellent team player<\/li>\n<li>Good PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Air Products, we have been helping our customers to become more productive, energy efficient and sustainable for more than 85 years.
