We work closely with other Arup teams as part of Arup-wide multidisciplinary teams in Ireland and across the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We deliver projects primarily in the Science Industry and Technology sectors as well as Healthcare, Educational, Commercial, Residential and a variety of other sectors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">As a Senior Civil Design Engineer\u00a0at Arup, you will:<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Lead and manage the delivery of the civil engineering and utility design scope of site development projects<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Be responsible for producing designs, drawings, 3D models, specifications and reports on time and within budget.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Represent Arup at client meetings, offering expert advice and developing innovative solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Does this role inspire you?<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We&#8217;re looking for someone who is passionate about furthering their career and gaining invaluable experience within a friendly working environment. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years\u2019 experience within a consultancy environment.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Must have chartered professional status, or similar recognised qualification.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Strong site infrastructure technical design skills (surface water, foul, water, roads and carparks, earthworks, underground utility services coordination).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Proven track record in project delivery of large-scale site infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Ability to technically lead and manage the design process on site infrastructure projects from conceptual layout to detailed design and construction.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Highly experienced in the use of BIM (Civil 3D and\/or Revit) to deliver coordinated site infrastructure designs as part of a multi-discipline project environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also value:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Awareness of the Irish regulatory and planning framework, together with experience of managing site infrastructure projects through the planning process.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Experience liaising with Uisce Eireann, Utility Companies and Local Authorities.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Experience managing internal and external design interfaces e.g., architectural, structural, geotechnical, landscape, mechanical and electrical.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Experience leading and directing teams in a digital\/BIM environment, co-ordinating civil services with those of other disciplines.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Passionate about driving digital delivery on projects and keeping appraised of latest industry developments around digital and BIM.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Experience with InfoDrainage or similar hydraulic modelling software.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organisational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Why Arup?<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
